There is something special about watching stupidity. It’s a great American past time. Americans love acting foolish to get a laugh. People also do a lot of things one would consider foolish, though to the person it may have seemed perfectly sensible at the time.
There was even a radio show on the air from 1942 to 1951, sponsored by Phillip Morris and Chrysler called, “It pays to be ignorant.” It was a humorous satire filled with one-liner jokes by comedians who pretended to be stupid for laughs. It was actually pretty funny. So if you want to enjoy a laugh at the expense of others, do your thing. It’s all fun and games today!
