Pro Era: At least they got skills

Pro Era Crew

Pro Era Crew

Admittedly, these dudes seem very plain spoken and somewhat nondescript. A very laid back, not too serious, playful young tone differentiates them from the over-the-top antics of some rappers. With roots in NY, the BK Flatbush section, it seems the real difference is an emphasis on mic skills. Their crew, made up of various emcees and producers, seem to shirk the made-up drama and hype surrounding so many others of their generation, for something more authentic. Members include noted up and coming rapper, Joey Bada$$, Chuck Strangers and Capital Steez, who died of an apparent suicide, Christmas Eve 2012. What toll, the unsuspected death takes on the group, will come to light over the next 12 months. R.I.P Capital Steez.
