The new NetFlix/Marvel series Luke Cage promises to showcase a new Hip Hop infused superhero into the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Critics and fans all anticipate a spectacular addition to the epic stories which will now include a look at Harlem’s underground crime fighter. The final trailer even includes a cameo by a well-known hip-hop artist who plays himself in an amazing, unforgettable scene. How Hip Hop infused is Luke Cage? Well, let’s say that it’s so Hip Hop, that each episode is titled after a song by Gang Starr. For those that don’t know that was the duo of DJ Premier (aka Primo for the young heads) and Guru.
