How much do you ♥ WBL?

Mazi Mutafa February 3 at 2:23pm
Some people say you can’t really love something you don’t know. So to that end we are inviting you as a member of the Words Beats & Life group on facebook to be part of our second annual Breakfast of Champions and learn more about who is behind our success. This is a friendraiser, fundraiser and celebration of the people whose time, effort and influence allowed us to not just make it through another year, but come through it stronger than we were when we went into it.

We will be recognizing Mr. Tim Conlin, Ms. Gloria Nauden, Mrs. Kelly Matthews, and Mr. Rhome Anderson. These four individuals played a very large role in our successes in 2010. We will also be celebrating our year long partnership with Busboys and Poets and all that has meant to our work.

This celebration is a GREAT reason to be late to work on a Friday. Sow a seed into our work and break bread with other people who believe in the transformative power of hip-hop culture on a personal, community, national and international level.

Join us for the Breakfast of Champions of February 11th from 8:30am-9:30am

RSVP Today

For our friends and supporters who don’t live in the area or can’t be part of a breakfast, please consider making a donation that would be substantial to you here:
